A Novel Way To Light The Room
It will look like a high-quality book, lying on your bedside table. Then you open it up and it concertinas out into an arc of lit-up pages, casting a beautiful glow into the room.
This is the best book light we’ve seen so far, because not only does it run on batteries, avoiding the need for messy cables and proximity to plug sockets, but it also glows in an array of colours. There are actually five different colour modes for the book light: green, purple, red, blue and a crisp white. Open up the book to see what colour appears, and if you want to change it, simply close the book and reopen it to see a new colour glowing from the pages.
When the book is opened at 180 degrees, it casts just the right amount of light to be used as a desk top lamp. If you want a brighter illumination, you can actually open the book up to a full 360 degrees and the covers of the book then clip together (back to back) with internal strong magnets. These same magnets can also be useful if you want to attach the book to the top of a metal desk (or any other metal furniture) when it’s opened up. If you’re feeling particularly wacky you can fasten it around a corner, because the magnets will hold it in place.
This beautiful piece of home decor will look wonderful in any quiet reading room and makes a perfect gift that any book lover will treasure.
